Here are three simple ways to begin:
1. Check your inbox
You will receive a welcome message and receipt for payment along with information about your membership and how to access the CPL community.
Please allow up to 24 hours for your welcome message to arrive. If you do not see it, check your spam or promotions folder.
2. Join a CPL Connect Member Orientation Call
Offered twice each month, CPL Connect is a welcoming orientation gathering where you can meet other members and members of CPL’s leadership team, become more familiar with the community, and learn how to make the most of your membership.
There is nothing you need to prepare. Simply choose an upcoming call that works for you and come as you are.
3. Join the Weekly Community Hearth
The Community Hearth is CPL’s weekly online gathering—and one of the most meaningful ways to experience membership as an ongoing relationship rather than a one-time program.
Each gathering is lightly facilitated and offers space to pause, set an intention, reflect, listen deeply, and engage in thoughtful conversation with people committed to purposeful leadership. It is not a class or formal meeting. There is nothing to prepare, prove, or perform. You are welcome to come as you are.
By returning over time, members can:
Create a reliable rhythm of reflection and renewal
Strengthen authentic relationships across the CPL community
Practice presence, deep listening, and meaningful conversation
Explore questions and experiences that matter in their lives and leadership
Carry greater clarity, connection, and purpose into their work and communities
You do not need to attend every week to benefit. Join whenever the rhythm supports you.
Whether you arrive energized, uncertain, weary, or curious, the Hearth offers a place to become grounded, reconnect with what matters, and remember that purposeful leadership does not have to be practiced alone.
4. Enter CPL Communities and the Member Hub (coming soon!)
CPL Communities is CPL’s private online member gathering place—a space where members can continue relationships and conversations between live gatherings, access selected resources and recordings, discover upcoming opportunities, and participate in the ongoing life of the community.
Once you enter, we invite you to:
Add a photo and brief introduction to your profile.
Introduce yourself to the community.
Explore upcoming gatherings and conversations.
Notice the spaces and topics that interest you.
What Happens Next?
CPL Connect will help you begin finding your place in the community. From there, we invite you to continue exploring the people, conversations, and experiences that make CPL meaningful.
You might:
Join us around the Community Hearth.
Participate in an Essential Conversation or another upcoming CPL event.
Explore resources and conversations in CPL Communities.
Connect with members who share your interests.
Discover ways to participate, contribute, or serve.
You do not need to explore everything at once. Choose one experience that feels meaningful and allow your relationship with CPL to develop at a pace that is right for you
