The CPL Member Experience

Continue connecting, practicing, and growing.

CPL Membership creates continuity between individual programs, gatherings, retreats, and conversations.

It offers a way to remain connected to the people and practices that support purposeful leadership—not just for a season, but as part of an ongoing journey.

Membership is not about participating in everything. It is about having a community to return to and meaningful ways to continue growing.

Membership at a Glance

  • Volunteering

  • Mentoring or supporting other participants

  • Sharing your experience or story

  • Facilitating or helping convene conversations

  • Supporting programs and community initiatives

  • Serving on committees or project teams

  • Helping welcome others into the community

Participation can take many forms. Every member is invited to contribute in ways that reflect their interests, experience, and capacity.

Membership may also provide access to:

  • Selected CPL learning resources

  • Member spaces within CPL Communities

  • Early notice of upcoming opportunities

  • Member pricing for designated programs or retreats

  • Special member gatherings and learning opportunities

Specific opportunities may change as CPL’s programs and community continue to evolve. Current opportunities will always be communicated clearly to members.

A Mutual Commitment

Membership is a relationship of shared care and participation.

CPL commits to creating welcoming spaces, meaningful practices, clear communication, and opportunities for members to connect, grow, and contribute.

Members are invited to participate in ways that reflect their interests, experience, and capacity—and to help strengthen the community through their presence, participation, and leadership.

Find your place in the community

You do not need to participate in everything or know exactly how you want to be involved before joining.

Begin with one next step—attend a CPL Connect gathering, join the Community Hearth, or enter CPL Communities—and discover the people and opportunities that speak to you.

“The power of human connection is the key to our collective future. This is our calling, our mutual purpose: to enhance the power of every engagement by bringing everyone’s voice and wisdom to a positive outcome. This is the foundation of collective impact.”
