Bud is a social and environmental entrepreneur. As Founder of Deep Nature Journeys offering Leadership Awareness Training, and Wilderness Solo experiences, Bud is a steadfast advocate for the principles of deep ecology. He believes that regenerative human behavior is the next essential step for humanity. Restorative principles and initiatives must replace the standard practices of industrial growth societies. In his view, sustainability is inadequate to meet today's challenges. Sustainability maintains a base level of status quo.

It's time that we replaced our love of power. Money, bright and shiny objects and things. And stuff. And replace it with a love of life. And one another, self and one another.

Bud is part of a global community of peace ambassadors through a LeCiel Foundation Holistic Visions cohort. Every year, Holistic Visions brings together 144 thought leaders, creatives, and subject matter experts from over 40 countries, who together, are addressing the fundamental tenets of a more balanced and ecologically-minded society.

My extensive experience in presence & awareness training, as well as my years as a wilderness guide continues to inform my passionate advocacy for ecological, social and cultural renewal.
I know that a deep commitment to the highest standards of quality and integrity are the keys to creating excellence. Our shared positive vision of the world we dream as possible is the antidote for the well informed futility syndrome that leads to resignation and despair.
As a member of the top management team for John Denver's Windstar Foundation, I learned that all of humanity shares the same core values: caring for the well-being of the whole is the key to success in business and communities.
My career in leadership development, designing innovative sales and marketing strategies, demonstrating measurable results and enthusiasm for new possibilities continues to inspire me forward into greater collaborations, innovations and achievements.
