We are honored to welcome back Dr. Juana Bordas as the April 8 Conversation Starter. Juana is writing a new book and wants to share with the CPL community! Join us to be one of the first to hear from Juana what the book encompasses and why she is compelled to write it.

Juana is recognized as an elder and icon in the world of leadership, diversity, and the advancement of Latinos and communities of color.  The first Latina faculty at the Center for Creative Leadership (CCL) she taught in the Leadership Development Program – the most highly utilized executive program in the world. As a leader, teacher, activist, and author Dr. Bordas continues sharing her wisdom and insights with people across the globe. 

Juana received an honorary doctorate from Union University and received the 2019 Life-Time Achievement Award from The International Leadership Association. She is the first Latina honored with this prestigious award which has been received by Warren Bennis, Robert Greenleaf, Peter Drucker, James McGregor Burns, and Margaret Wheatley.Latinos will make up 78% of the new workforce in the next decade and started 80% of new businesses in the past decade. Over 50% are under 18 years old. And the US is the fastest-growing Spanish-speaking country in the world!

As always, the conversation will include an intergenerational approach that can guide us in transferring leadership to younger generations--an inclusive and crucial part of every conversation.
